Kurizuka Kofun is a square mounded tomb constructed on the east side of Ojin-tenno-ryo Kofun [33-1], adjoining its outer bank. Given its position, this tomb is considered to be related to Ojin-tenno-ryo Kofun as a satellite tomb.
The mound length is 43 m, and its height is 5 m.
In addition to cylindrical haniwa, a wide variety of representational haniwa have been unearthed from the mound and the moat, particularly noteworthy of these being large house-shaped haniwa.
The construction period dates to the first half of the 5th century.
