43. Aoyama Kofun

Aoyama Kofun is a round mounded tomb located on the west of Hakayama Kofun [38].

The mound has a diameter of 62 m, with a projection on the southwest side; its total length is 72 m, and the height is 10 m.

Cylindrical haniwa and many representational haniwa have been unearthed from the mound.

The construction period dates to the first half of the 5th century.

Walk 14 minutes to the west from Furuichi Station on the Kintetsu Railway Minami-Osaka Line.
