4. Genemonyama Kofun

Genemonyama Kofun is a round mounded tomb constructed adjacent to the outer moat of Nintoku-tenno-ryo Kofun [2-1], on its northeastern side. It is thought to be related to Nintoku-tenno-ryo Kofun as a satellite tomb.

The mound’s diameter is 34 m, and its height is 5.4 m.

Cylindrical haniwa and other artifacts have been unearthed from the moat.

The construction period dates to the first half of the 5th century.

Walk 4 minutes to the west from Mikunigaoka Station on the JR Hanwa Line/Nankai Railway Koya Line.
