9. Dogameyama Kofun
Dogameyama Kofun is a square mounded tomb constructed on the west side of the square front part of Nintoku-tenno-ryo Kofun [2-1].
Given its position, it is considered to be related to Nintoku-tenno-ryo Kofun as a satellite tomb. It is the only surviving square tomb in the vicinity of Nintoku-tenno-ryo Kofun.
Its mound length is more than 26 m, and its height is 5.4 m.
The construction period dates to the first half of the 5th century.
